The integration of NFC technology in the INTIX trade show allows exhibitors to efficiently scan the radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags embedded in attendees' name badges. Each RFID tag is coded with a unique identification number that correlates with the information displayed on the badge, without containing any additional personal details.

When an attendee consents to have their name badge scanned, the RFID @ INTIX application captures the pertinent badge information. This functionality enables exhibitors to record interaction details through either manual notes or customizable quick key tags. The captured data is stored locally for immediate editing and review, then securely synchronized to the cloud. This ensures that the information is combined with any opted-in registration data provided by attendees, allowing for secure retrieval by the specific exhibitor who recorded the lead.

Importantly, a continuous internet connection is not required to collect or edit lead data, which enhances convenience during the event. The application interface clearly displays the number of leads collected in the lower-left corner. Additionally, multiple users from the same organization can utilize a single registration tag to aggregate lead data and view overall totals.
